The Pulse

Sunday, December 13th, 2009

Seth Apter has been doing a thing he calls “The Pulse” from his blogspot (link in sidebar) where in he shares space with other artists whom he has interviewed. Its a sort of networking scheme generating, supporting and inspiring interest in other art blogs and in what other artists do. I contributed to The Pulse this year. One of the questions he asked has to do with artist’s secrets which he posts on Sundays. Its fun. One of my “secrets” is posted today. Although, for those who have been following my blog for a while its not such a secret!

Comments received here as a result of the post at Seth’s blog, ~~~I will be adding the artist’s link to my blog roll to further generate and support what other’s are doing in the same spirit from which the networking was inspired.

He saw stars

I went to get new eyeglasses over the weekend and one of the things discussed was that I occasionally see stars in my peripheral vision, so I think that is how the idea for this came about, and I took it a bit further. Its oil on canvas about 2 x 3 feet

First Friday

Sunday, December 6th, 2009

First Friday was great fun. I always enjoy meeting people who visit the gallery.

I’m finally functional after two weeks of being sick and finally have some times after two weeks of care taking baby Vee. I hope to finish up some ornies (ornaments) today and get them listed on etsy. It feels good to be in the studio, no, great!!
